1. What We Collect

From Customers: name, phone number, optional email, job address, GPS coordinates (when you allow location access), service request details, uploaded photos, IP address, and consent timestamp.

From Contractors: full name, business name, phone, email, service area, driver's license, proof of liability insurance, insurance provider/policy/expiration, optional business license, profile photo, and account activity.

2. How We Use It

To match Customers with nearby Contractors, to verify Contractor identity and insurance, to operate and improve the Service, to maintain audit trails for safety and dispute resolution, and to comply with legal obligations.

3. What We Share With Contractors

Before a Contractor accepts a job, they see only the approximate area, requested service, photos you upload, and general notes — not your name, phone, exact address, or precise coordinates.

After a Contractor accepts your job, your name, phone number, email (if provided), exact address, and full job details are shared with that Contractor so they can perform the job.

4. Location Data

We use your location only to match you with nearby Contractors. You can decline GPS access and enter your address manually. Your precise location is never exposed in open job listings and is only released to the accepting Contractor.

5. Retention & Deletion

We retain completed job records for safety, accounting, and legal purposes. You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting us. After deletion or anonymization, your name, phone, email, and exact address are removed; non-identifying fields (city, state, job category, status, date) may be retained.

6. Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit, and row-level security in our database to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure. Audit logs are append-only and visible only to administrators.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information. Contact us to exercise these rights.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 16.
